Zerph AI ("we", "our", "us") provides analytics and business intelligence tools for e-commerce merchants. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you install and use our application.

1. Data We Collect

When you install Zerph AI, we access the following data from your Shopify store via the Shopify API:

• Orders — order details, line items, financial status, and shipping information
• Customers — customer profiles, order counts, and lifetime spend
• Products — product titles, types, vendors, and variants
• Refunds — refund details and line items
• Payouts — Shopify Payments payout and transaction data

We also collect your Shopify store domain, store name, email, currency, and timezone as provided during installation.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Generate analytics dashboards (revenue, orders, customer segments, product performance)
• Power AI-assisted business intelligence queries
• Provide data access through our MCP connector for Claude Desktop

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond providing our analytics service to you.

3. Data Storage and Security

• Each merchant's data is stored in a dedicated, isolated database — your data is never commingled with other merchants' data.
• All Shopify access tokens and API credentials are encrypted at rest using Fernet symmetric encryption.
• Database connections use TLS encryption in transit.
• Infrastructure is hosted on Railway with managed PostgreSQL.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. Your data is only accessible to:

• You, through our embedded app and Claude Desktop connector
• Our AI service provider (Anthropic) for processing natural language queries — only the specific data needed to answer your question is included in the query context

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as the app is installed on your store. When you uninstall Zerph AI:

• Your store is marked as inactive in our system
• Your access token is invalidated
• Your data may be deleted upon request

6. Your Rights

You may at any time:

• Uninstall the app to revoke our access to your Shopify data
• Request a copy of the data we hold about your store
• Request deletion of all your data

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email.
